Our Process
01.
Inquiry & booking
Once we have received your inquiry we will discuss and plan a date, location, vibe or style, timeline (length of photoshoot) and price point!
You don't need to worry about much, send me an inquiry by filing in the blanks on our contact page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
I will ask you every necessary question to make the booking process easier for myself and my clients!
02.
Payment
Photos by Joce requires a downpayment for every photoshoot.
We require 50% of the agreed upon price of your photoshoot for family, couples, engagements and any portrait sessions.
We require 20% of the agreed upon price of your photoshoot for Wedding sessions or any other event with more than 50 people.
The remaining balance is due on the date of the session.
All payments can be made via transfer to 4317332002 or paid with cash.
03.
Photoshoot
We will meet at the agreed upon location at the agreed upon time.
I will come prepared with prompts and poses that enhance your specific style or vibe.
I tend to scout the location the day before the shoot so I have background or specific spots already planned out for your sessions!
You are always welcome to bring any prop you'd like, please make sure to let me know in advance therefore I can come prepared to capture you and yours.
04.
Gallery delivery
Every gallery delivered by Photos by Joce is delivered using an online gallery delivery system. Once your gallery is ready to share, you will receive an email saying your photos are ready. I include all information needing to download and fully enjoy your photos at their best quality in that email as well.
Photos by Joce keeps all gallery for 2 years from the session date. Within this time you are more than welcome to request your online gallery to be redelivered.
FAQ
My family and I are dysfunctional and not photogenic at all, how will we get good photos?
Photography is an art- meaning anything photographed can create a timeless memory. My style is authentically candid and posed. I will guide you and your loved ones through specific posing and prompts that I think would fit your vibe!
How do I know you will get all the shots I want at my wedding?
All my wedding shoots are preplanned and discussed thoroughly via email and phone call if needed. I send out my Wedding photography contract and Questionnaire which helps me create a schedule I will then share with the wedding planner or coordinator for approval. The day of the Wedding I have this schedule with me to keep myself and you as the couple on track time wise!
What to look for in a photographer?
We would advise for you to find your preferred editing style (ex. dark & moody, light & airy, true to color).
Once you have found your preferred editing style, read on the photographers with those styles. Do you want someone that is quiet and reserved, out going and fun?
Find a photographer who you can be yourself around so you can receive the best authentic or best posed photos!
How should we dress for our family session?
Keep your personality reflected in your outfits but try to stay on a specific color palette of your choice. For example, jeans and black shirts, neutral tops and dark pants. OR be creative and all wear your favourite hockey team jersey and jeans. Try not to over complicate it!
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
No problem at all! I tend to start all my photography sessions with very simple and casual poses or prompts to get you comfortable in the moment. Any pose offered by me is not mandatory by any means and I am a very understanding and flexible person to work with! These are your photos and I want YOU to feel confident and comfortable during any photoshoot.
